From marching bands to giant crabs to dancing librarians, the Manzanita Parade is fun for all. To watch the parade you can just show up at 1pm on July 4th! Click here for more information and a map of the Parade Route.
This year's parade theme is SOAR FOURTH
From floats, to classic cars, to decorated bikes and walkers, it wouldn't be a parade without you! To be in the parade, please visit the registration page.
Get your 2024 parade poster. Original artwork by local artist Lori Dillon! Make a donation of $30 or more and pickup your poster at the Manzanita Visitor Center (31 Laneda Ave).

The Parade begins at the intersection of Division Street and Laneda Ave; ti travels west all the way down Laneda Ave right through town, turns north at the ocean, and then turns east on Manzanita Ave and continues up the hill to finish at the intersection of Manzanita Ave and Division. You can see a parade map here. The Manzanita Parade is free to the public.

The Manzanita Parade is FREE - there is no entry fee. The parade is 100% volunteer-run & community funded through donations and poster sales. To make a donations click here
You can set up chairs anytime after 7am on the 4th of July. The City of Manzanita does not allow chairs to be set up before 7am on July 4th. Chairs can only be placed on the sidewalks (not in the street). Please leave at least 48" of walking space for pedestrians. For more information click here.

RESERVING SPOTS:
The city requires that chairs be put out no earlier than 7am on the day of the parade. Please do not try to reserve a spot before that or it could be removed.
PLACEMENT OF CHAIRS:
Chairs can only be placed on the sidewalks (not in the street). Please leave at least 48" of walking space for pedestrians.
ROAD CLOSURES:
Laneda and Manzanita Ave will be fully closed around 12:30 PM. The corners of Laneda and Classic as well as Manzanita Ave and Classic, and Division Ave between Manzanita and Laneda will be closed around 11:30 or 12pm.
